March Wrap Up

I've decided to do something a little new. In conjunction with my BookTube Channel, I'm going to be doing a monthly warp up of the books that I've read each month. I thought it could be a fun way to share a quick peek at my thoughts to each book. I'll link any reviews that I've posted (either on here or on Goodreads) and you can pick up a copy of the book via the link I provide if it sounds interesting.

The books I read in March

The Sea Before Us by Sarah Sundin | My rating: 5*

I absolutely loved this Christian historical set during WWII and around the time of D-day. I am already looking forward to book 2 in the series!

Purchase: The Sea Before Us

The Curse of The Pharaohs by Elizabeth Peters | 5*

A fun read! I've started reading through the Amelia Peabody series (on audiobook) and just can't get enough of them! I love the humor, the Egyptian context, and the mystery.

Purchase: The Curse of the Pharaohs

Reclaiming Shilo Snow by Mary Weber | 5*

A fun and exciting ending to this duopoly. I really enjoyed this one and liked how Mary wrapped up the story. Lots of excitement and fun!

Purchase: Reclaiming Shilo Snow

Emerald Green by Kerstin Gier | 5*

The end to a very exciting time travel series! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by all of the excitement in the end of this series. I would say that I felt as if this series is like one loooong book spread out through three books, just as a warning to those who don't' like cliffhangers. All in all, I really enjoyed it!

Purchase: Emerald Green

Bone Music by Christopher Rice | 4*

Bone Music will take you on a fast-paced, thrilling ride through the world of 'what if' to land somewhere between reality and science fiction. I got this book for free to read for review and enjoyed it. I will mention here (again) that this is definitely 18+ for mature themes and language.

Purchase: Bone Music

Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor 5*

I'm so sad that this trilogy is over...but wow! Just WOW! Laini's writing is simply incredible and this is a fantastic end to a wonderful series!

Gemina by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff | 5*

YES! This book...simply wonderful! Yet another stunner. I had to read this so that I could hop straight into Obsido (which I'm currently reading now!). If you like sci-fi and don't mind unconventional printing, this book is definitely for you!

Purchase: Gemina

The Mummy Case by Elizabeth Peters | 5*

I told you I was on an Amelia Peabody kick, didn't I? Well, loved this one too!

Purchase: The Mummy Case

The Seventh Sinner by Elizabeth Peters | 3*

This one wasn't my favorite...see my review as to why :)

The Camelot Caper by Elizabeth Peters |  4*

This was a fun, quick read (audiobook). I enjoyed the premise and the fun, lighthearted nature of it along with the mystery. The characters repartee was enjoyable :)
